How to Participate in an IABT Test

Taking a test on IABT takes a few minutes. Here’s what to expect.

1. Open the test

Each live test has its own link, for example iabt.com/take/audio-quality. Open it on any modern browser — desktop or mobile.

2. Sign in

You’ll sign in with World ID in one step — the same verification that proves you’re a unique human also signs you in. No password, no account form; IABT only holds a short-lived session. Learn how that works.

3. Extra checks on some tests

Your World ID proof already covers the essential guarantee — you’re a real, unique person, so each human’s vote counts once, without revealing your identity. Some tests add a brief liveness check or, with your consent, an ID.me attribute (like age bracket or region) so results can be fairly segmented.

4. Compare and choose

For each pair, experience A and B, then pick the one you prefer. You can replay as often as you like. The order of A and B is randomized, and the system names are hidden until after you choose. Optionally add how confident you are and a one-line reason.

5. Finish and see the reveal

When you’ve judged every pair, the labels are unmasked so you can see which systems you preferred. Your verdicts join the verified crowd’s and shape the live results.

Rules of the panel

  • One human, one vote per test. A second attempt from the same person is declined.
  • No bots, no scripts. Verification is required before any verdict is recorded.
  • Your privacy is protected. See why verified testers matter for exactly what is and isn’t stored.

Questions about a specific test? Each test page links to its own methodology — for the voice tests, start with the audio A/B test methodology.
